Trekkin Tots Rental Terms and Conditions
- Transportation of Full-Size Cribs:
- Full-size cribs cannot be transported in your vehicle if you decide to change locations.
- To arrange a transfer, please contact Trekkin Tots.
- For the delivery and pickup of baby equipment, there is typically a 2-3 hour time window required, depending on your destination city.
- Once a delivery and pickup time window is confirmed, it becomes the client's responsibility to ensure someone is present at the location or provide access if no one can be there.
- If no one is available or access is not granted during the designated time window, we may attempt to reschedule with an additional delivery fee.
- If the delivery is to a rental property, it is important for the client to inform the property management about the engagement of a baby equipment rental company. Failure to do so may result in delays or loss of product, leading to additional fees.
- In gated communities, it is necessary to notify the guard gate or provide a gate code to ensure access. Failure to do so may incur additional charges.
- Porch Pickup and Delivery:
- If you choose porch pickup and delivery, you are responsible for any lost or stolen items from the porch, even after check-out is complete.
- Please ensure that all equipment is placed in a hidden area, side gate, or back yard.
- Hotel Delivery and Pickup:
- For hotel stays, delivery and pickup are usually made from the hotel bell desk.
- It is the renter's responsibility to ensure that the equipment is properly tagged and returned to the bell desk at the designated pick-up time.
- Please do not check out and leave the equipment in your room.
- Failure to place the equipment at the bell desk may result in an extra charge if staff spends an excessive amount of time searching for it.
- The renter is responsible for any lost items in the hotel, even after check-out, so please ensure that all equipment is properly tagged with your name upon check-out.
- It is recommended to obtain the name of the bellman or hotel staff member to whom you return the equipment.
- Take a photo of the claim ticket and text it to Trekkin Tots.
- Requests to change delivery or pick-up times within a 24-hour period are subject to scheduling availability and may result in a schedule change fee.
- Damages/Lost or Stolen Products:
- Except for high chairs, no food or drink is allowed on rental equipment (water is permitted).
- Strollers are not allowed in the sand or for placing children or personal items with sand.
- The renter agrees to return the products in the condition received, or cleaning fees assessed by Trekkin Tots Company will be applied to the credit card on file.
- The renter is responsible for any loss or theft of rental equipment and agrees to pay for any necessary replacements.
- Products must be returned with all accessories and parts intact and in proper working order.
- Excessive damage to rental equipment beyond normal wear and tear will be repaired or replaced at the renter's expense.
- Any additional fees resulting from loss, theft, repair, or replacement will be charged to the credit card on file.
- If an item is lost at a hotel, car rental agency, rental property, or any other delivery and pick-up destination, the renter has 72 hours to work with the location to retrieve the lost product.
- After the 72-hour period, if the product is not retrieved, the card on file will be charged for the cost of the item.
- Additional trips to retrieve equipment may result in an additional delivery fee.
- Cancellations & Early Termination:
- Orders canceled more than 3 calendar days prior to the delivery date will incur a $25 processing charge.
- Orders canceled within 3 calendar days of the delivery date will be charged 50% of the original order amount or the minimum order amount for the area, whichever is greater.
- There are no refunds for early returns.
- Safety is a top priority when renting baby equipment.
- All products are up-to-date and comply with current federal safety standards.
- Products are regularly checked and replaced as needed to meet evolving industry standards.

- All equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized before delivery.
- Trekkin Tots does not provide car seat installation services.
- Information on installing car seats is generally posted on the car seats themselves.
- Local fire stations may offer car seat installation services.
